The heat-sealed edges hold up perfectly even with my heaviest loose-leaf blends, and the abaca pulp paper feels sturdy without any papery taste leaching into the cup. I’ve gone through about forty of these this month and not a single one has leaked or collapsed in the strainer.
These don’t tear when you pull the drawstring tight, even with a heavy spoonful of loose leaves. The 100-count box lasts me a couple of months of daily brewing, and the paper holds up well in hot water without any taste seeping through.
The hot-sealed edges are a real plus—no glue taste or fragile seams when I fold them into my teapot. I've brested loose leaf every morning for two weeks and they hold up perfectly without tearing.
