The acacia lid seals so well that my tea stays hot for a surprisingly long time, and the borosilicate glass is thick enough to feel sturdy without being heavy. The basket is so fine that even my loose rooibos leaves don’t sneak through, and the glass feels sturdy enough for daily use. I’ve been leaving the acacia lid on while it steeps and the tea stays properly hot for a good ten minutes after pouring.
The acacia lid keeps the heat in so well that I can sip my herbal mix slowly without it going cold. The 45cl size is perfect for a generous mug, and the borosilicate glass is sturdy yet elegant on the table.
